Conference Court / 4 Pump Court

A renovation of the offices for a well respected barristers chambers in Middle Temple, London. Three new conference spaces were proposed to the south side of the existing accommodation to enjoy direct views into Elm court. A central spine of storage allows for a threshold between the circulation route and spaces for meetings. The conference rooms are upgraded to suggest a space between the spine wall and the courtyard with the flowers that grow within the courtyard introduced to the building in glass test tubes and stainless steel holders.

The result is a facility which reflects the forward thinking of the chambers company whilst reconnecting the internal conference rooms with the history and beauty of the courtyard environment.
