Designing a sustainable 13-storey commercial building on a corner site in one of Dhaka's fastest developing areas was an intriguing challenge.
We focused on the connections between inside and out, using a facade screen and roof terrace canopy to get the right balance of sun and shade.
A VERTICAL PROMENADE
Our proposal celebrated the elevation as an external, vertical promenade activating the façade, offering users alternative outdoor access to the different storeys.

GREEN POCKETS
The structure itself supports small pockets of plants within and around the building, enhancing the view from the street and contributing to the urban realm.
