A speculative office development in the heart of the creative industry neighbourhood of Clerkenwell, London. The site is a massive basement on St John Street. The proposals aim to split the underground space into a number of units for creative industries. Small and medium units allow start up companies to rent units. The branding of the proposals, MEET, suggests the development of a community where individual members can enjoy a wealth of communal experience. Conference rooms and break out spaces allow for a relaxed environment.
MEET relates to the historical context of the area and buildings i.e. related to the Smithfield market known as the primary location for sourcing meat in central London.
