Transparent Rock / Henley
A gallery space in Henley for showing beautiful glazed artworks. Delivered on a tight budget the layout and construction of the scheme was conceived around three types of display, held, presented and heroic. The pieces are for sale and are located individually according to their retail viability. An existing central basement was renovated to allow for a sunken piece of art work, a simple yet engaging moment as people enter the property.
The rooms are monolithic and formally arranged to integrate structure, services and lighting to create a holistic monumental feel.
